SAVE YOUR GOOD NAME, REV SOLOMON APPEALS TO MR PRESIDENT. 1
The General Overseer of The Crown Of Life Bible Church, House of David INC, Jalingo and Vice Chairman North East Zonal Chapter of CAN has appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to save his good name and make all the necessary sacrifice even if it means to give up power in order to save the nation from the terrible experiences and consequences of a failed state under his leadership due to the heightened state of insecurity, blood shedding and acts of lawlessness by bandits and armed groups that appear to overwhelm security agencies in some parts of the country.
While it is true that Mr President had good intentions before becoming democratically elected President, it is also true that these good intentions have been undermined and terribly overtaken by almost irredeemable circumstances inview of the administration’s apparent inability to surmount most particularly the security challenges in the country which is the most fundamental and constitutional responsibility of government. There is no doubt that Mr President’s good intentions were hijacked by elements of his government that do not see the same way he sees, and planned and wished for Nigeria and Nigerians.
I Call on the President to go the honourable way as did some African Patriots like Nelson Mandela and the rest rather than continuing and be called all kinds of names and seen as incompetent, weak, insensitive, sectional etc, let him muster enough courage to do the needful including if necessary stepping aside
so as not only to save the nation from disaster but his good name and past legacies from been totally destroyed.
There is an adage that says ” a good name is better than silver and gold”. This can equally be said, a good name is better than power.
The President should stop listening to those who are deceiving him about the true situation of the country, telling him it is well when indeed most Nigerians are cursing him rather than celebrating him.
While I believe it is not too late for the President to redeem his name, critical at this point is for him to act urgently as a Father, trustworthy General and someone whose utterances meant well for the nation before assuming the enormous task and sacred duty of presiding over this great country of close to 200million citizens.
Rev (Dr) Innocent Solomon
General Overseer of The Crown Of Life Bible Church, House of David INC. &
North East Zonal Vice Chairman of CAN.
